For many of you on the front range this is not the first time you’ve heard of Mr. Mike Clark. You’ve probably witnessed his fierce and often epic performances with The Jack Trades, heard the countrified stomping’ sing-alongs of Crow Flies and was serenaded by his multi-instrumental shows as a member of The Haunted Windchimes. Like his first band implies he truly is a jack of all trades, and shows a slightly different side of his genius with each new project.

The Ghost of Michael Clark is the darker, more in depth side of him. Drawing from personal experiences, from tornados he grew up with in Calhan Colorado, to the telling of stories through the eyes of fictional characters who become the ghosts who haunt him.

Clark has put together an all-star cast of musicians to help him tell the stories of his soon to be released full length album, “Bound To Break.” Produced and engineered by The Changing Colors Conor and Ian Bourgal in various locations in Southern Colorado. With contributions from pedal steel player Patrick Anderson (The Broken Spoke), vocalist Chela Lujan (The Haunted Windchimes), cellist Aaron Fanning (The Changing Colors) and many more, Bound To Break is dynamic, mournful and full of spirits.
